Tiny birds with big fat beaks, finches are adorable. They can perch on the most slender of grasses and flit from one to another with a shimmer of little wings, shaking seeds to the ground as they go. These double barred finches can be found from the top of Western Australia across the Top End of the Northern Territory and throughout much of Queensland and New South Wales.
